Next year, Into Film’s Spring Screenings will return with a full UK-wide programme from 6-23 March 2023 and they are inviting cinemas to take part in events.
Into Film are passionate about giving young people, a chance to visit venues they may not have been to before, giving them the opportunity to experience the magic of cinema, surrounded by classmates and to instil cinema-going as a life-long habit. To do this, Into Film rely on the generosity of participating venues like BFI FAN members to make this happen.
Over the course of the screenings 5-19 year-olds and their educators, from all backgrounds and corners of the UK will have a chance to take part in the joy that is the cinema experience – some attending the cinema for the very first time. The event aims to encourage young people to visit the cinema more often, building engaged and passionate audiences for the future.
Ahead of the spring, the Into Film Festival, the world’s largest free film festival will be running from 8-25 November. Bookings are coming in daily and Into Film are doing their best to promote and encourage audience attendance to all the screenings whenever they can.
The Spring Screenings and the Into Film Festival are both great opportunities to engage with local schools and young people in your area, to take the opportunity to promote upcoming programming, to sell food and drink and offer incentives to return as paying customers as school bookings or with friends and family. In summary, it is a wonderful chance to capture their imaginations and inspire their next visit.

*Please note that Spring Screenings will not take place on weekends (films are screened during regular school hours) and in order to alleviate pressures around content delivery, please avoid booking screenings on Mondays as much as possible.
